Shipping Charges (for shipments within U.S.A.):

• We are currently offering free USPS first class shipping on all orders, regardless of the order total!
• UPS 2 Business Day insured shipping is available for $15 per order regardless of the number or value of the items.
• UPS Next Business Day insured shipping is available for $25.
• UPS Next Day with Saturday delivery (Friday to Saturday shipping) or UPS Next Business Day with Saturday pick-up (Saturday for Monday) is available for $35.
• Insured USPS Express Mail is available for $22. Express mail includes Saturday delivery (even Sunday in some areas). Express mail is guaranteed next day delivery to many parts of the country. To check the guaranteed delivery date for a package sent to your area, follow this link and use zip code 92014 as the origin zip code and your zip code as the delivery zip:

An additional $10 charge applies to UPS and Fedex shipments to Alaska and Hawaii (charged by UPS/Fedex).

SHIPPING TIME MUST BE ADDED TO THE TIME NEEDED TO FILL YOUR ORDER (typically one business day, unless otherwise noted on the product page).

Items purchased using free shipping option that are subsequently returned are refunded the merchandise value less a $7 fee.

International shipping:

International buyers should contact us for a shipping quote, as not all carrier services are available to all countries. If you contact us for a shipping quote, please add customerservice@tahitianpearls.biz to your "trusted" or "allowed" contacts list. Otherwise you may not receive our email reply. We will ship internationally for actual USPS or FedEx cost, including insurance charges.  Customs duties are the responsibility of the buyer. Shipping costs typically range from $20 to $70, depending on the carrier. All prices on our website are in US dollars, as are international shipping cost estimates.
Sales tax: 

We do not collect sales tax for items shipped to addresses outside the state of California.
We collect 8.75% California state sales tax for items shipped to California addresses.

Important shipping notes, terms and conditions:
Most orders ship within one business day (M-F) of placing an order. If you require same-day shipping, please call us at 888-869-8889 to place you order so you can be sure that we can indeed ship your item same day. Please note that rings ordered in sizes other than "stock" require an additional 1-2 business days for our jeweler to perform the sizing step. Also, some items note a 2-3 day order fulfillment time on the product page under the product specifics. Sized rings cannot be returned.

If you choose UPS/Fedex/Express Mail shipping, please be aware that these carriers have exceptions to their delivery guarantees for weather-related delays, etc ("force majeur"). If there is a delay in the absence of force majeur, we will attempt to obtain a partial refund for you, but only USPS reliably gives refunds for failing to meet a delivery guarantee in the absence of force majeur.

If you select 2nd Day/ Next Day/ Express shipping it is your responsibility to make sure someone is there to sign for the package. Our shipments are always sent with insurance, and insured packages require signature upon delivery. UPS/Fedex deliver Monday-Friday; Saturday delivery is available for Next Day packages for a $10 additional charge. Saturday pickup of UPS/Fedex packages also requires an additional $10 charge (this is charged by the courier, not by us). Keep in mind that only standard delivery days (M-F) count toward the shipping time (e.g., 2nd Day packages shipped on Friday are delivered on Tuesday).

UPS/Fedex will make three attempts to deliver the package. If no one is there to receive the package on any of those three attempts, it will be held at the local UPS/Fedex facility for 5 days and you will need to pick it up there (you will receive a card with instructions). If you fail to receive the package during one of the delivery attempts, and if you fail to pick up the package at the local facility in the subsequent 5 days, the package will be shipped back to us at your expense. If we receive your package by return shipping because you were not available for delivery, you will be credited the amount of the original purchase less shipping cost to you and shipping cost back to us (two shipping charges), since the carrier will charge us for shipping the package in both directions.

Our standard shipping is by USPS first class insured mail. There is no guaranteed timeframe for delivery, although most packages are delivered within 7 working days. Signature is required for delivery, so if no one is there to receive the package, your mail carrier will leave you a postcard telling you where to pick up the package, or how to arrange for redelivery.

If you want us to send a shipment by UPS/Fedex with no signature required, please contact us to place your order. This is possible in some cases, but you need to be aware that there is no insurance, and loss of the package subsequent to UPS/Fedex pickup scan (scan of the package when we give it to a UPS/Fedex agent) is considered your loss and not subject to refund of merchandise price or Visa/Mastercard/Amex/Discover chargeback.
